Delta Sound is an audio technology company established in Busan, Republic of Korea, in July 2026 with the goal of understanding differences in sound through technology and delivering sound solutions optimized for each space and operating environment.
The name Delta Sound is derived from the symbol delta (Δ), which represents change and difference. Delta Sound studies technologies that analyze the acoustic characteristics that vary according to the structure of a space and its operating conditions, and adjusts and optimizes those characteristics to achieve more suitable sound performance.
The Delta Sound engineering team has built extensive experience while working as technical engineers at professional broadcasting and audio companies. Their experience covers digital amplifiers, DSP, acoustic measurement and analysis, control software, and system development. Based on this experience and engineering capability, Delta Sound continues to advance its technologies and develop sound systems optimized for individual spaces.
Our research is not limited to a single audio device or piece of equipment. We study complete audio systems that understand and analyze how sound changes within a space, adapt to the intended purpose, and operate reliably in real-world environments.
Acoustic analysis and optimization require continuous research and verification because results vary depending on spatial structure and operating conditions. By combining precision measurement with software and hardware development expertise, Delta Sound aims to improve sound quality in ways that can be clearly experienced in the field and to refine differences in sound through technology in order to deliver the most suitable audio performance for each space.
Delta Sound has the technical capability to understand and implement the entire audio signal chain, from signal input through amplification, transmission, control, measurement, analysis, and correction.
We analyze the power supply, amplification stage, protection circuitry, and operating characteristics of digital power amplifiers, and design systems that consider output performance, sound quality, efficiency, thermal management, and operational stability.
Working with specialized R&D and manufacturing partners, we develop and manufacture circuits and amplifier modules, while improving product performance and reliability through repeated measurement and verification.
Using SigmaDSP and SHARC DSP platforms, we apply digital audio signal processing technologies such as equalization, filtering, crossover processing, delay, limiting, dynamic control, matrix mixing, and routing.
We research DSP architectures capable of precisely processing and controlling audio signals according to the characteristics of each space and the intended application.
Using our proprietary software, we measure and analyze the acoustic conditions of spaces in which audio systems are actually operated.
Based on a reference signal, we evaluate frequency response, sound pressure level deviation, propagation delay, phase characteristics, and the effects of reflections. We also apply FFT analysis with various block sizes and MTW-based analysis methods.
Measurement data is used to identify the causes of acoustic problems and to research correction and system integration technologies based on objective analysis.
Delta Sound researches acoustic analysis and correction technologies that use mathematical and artificial intelligence models to analyze and optimize room acoustics more efficiently.
Because room acoustics change in complex ways according to multiple environmental variables, even well-designed logic-based software may require significant analysis time and repeated correction procedures.
Our goal is to combine artificial intelligence models trained on acoustic data with mathematical analysis technologies and integrate them with measurement and analysis software. This approach is intended to derive correction conditions suited to each space and application while improving the accuracy and efficiency of acoustic optimization.
Delta Sound professionally utilizes Audio Precision APx Series audio analyzers to precisely measure and verify the electrical performance of a wide range of audio equipment, including power amplifiers, preamplifiers, mixers, and DSP systems.
We objectively measure and analyze key audio performance parameters such as THD+N, SNR, frequency response, noise floor, output level, channel balance, phase characteristics, crosstalk, IMD, and clipping behavior, and apply the results to product development and performance improvement.
Delta Sound researches network communication and device control technologies based on TCP/IP and UDP for the efficient operation and integrated control of audio systems.
We design communication structures and control protocols between power amplifiers, DSP units, audio input and output devices, and control software, and implement control environments that allow the settings and operating status of multiple audio devices to be managed through a single system.
Based on these technologies, we develop control software for device configuration, status monitoring, parameter control, real-time monitoring, and fault detection.
Delta Sound’s core objective goes beyond the development of individual devices. We integrate our software and hardware technologies to understand and optimize an entire space as one complete audio system.
By combining loudspeakers, amplifiers, DSP, digital networks, control software, measurement, and correction technologies, we design audio systems suited to the structure and intended use of various spaces, including government offices, educational institutions, schools, auditoriums, conference rooms, gymnasiums, and public facilities.
