DeltaSound is an audio technology company established in Busan, Republic of Korea, in July 2026 to technically understand the characteristics and changes of sound and to implement audio systems suited to specific spaces and operating environments.
The company name, Delta (Δ), represents change and difference. DeltaSound’s technical direction is to measure and analyze acoustic characteristics that vary according to spatial structure, installation environment, and operating conditions, and to apply the results to audio system design and optimization.
As an early-stage company, DeltaSound is currently building its own product portfolio and business track record. Its technical foundation, however, was not formed only after the company was established. It is based on the accumulated R&D and product development experience of its founder and technical engineers in the professional audio and sound reinforcement fields.
Their experience covers digital power amplifiers, mixing consoles, DSP-based audio processing, acoustic measurement and analysis, control software, and system development, as well as the broader processes of product planning, performance verification, certification, patents, public procurement, and commercialization.
Based on this experience, DeltaSound is currently developing its own technologies and products. The company aims to integrate loudspeakers, amplifiers, DSP, networking, control software, and acoustic measurement and analysis technologies into a unified system optimized for the characteristics and intended use of each space.
DeltaSound regards objective measurement and verification as essential criteria in product development and system evaluation, and continues its R&D efforts to turn accumulated technical experience into reliable products and practical audio systems.
DeltaSound researches and applies technologies for designing and implementing integrated audio systems based on an understanding of the complete signal flow, including audio input, processing, amplification, transmission, control, measurement, and analysis.
DeltaSound reviews the power supply, amplification stage, protection circuitry, and operating characteristics of digital power amplifiers, and comprehensively evaluates output performance, sound quality, efficiency, thermal behavior, and operational stability.
According to product and system requirements, circuit and design specifications are reviewed, and suitable amplifier architectures and components are selected through technical collaboration with specialized manufacturers. When appropriate, proven commercial OEM amplifier modules are integrated to improve the stability and efficiency of product development.
Developed or selected amplifiers are evaluated through precision measurement and testing to verify output characteristics, distortion, noise, frequency response, and operational stability. The measurement results are then reflected in product design and performance improvements.
DeltaSound designs the signal-processing architecture of DSP-based audio systems and implements a wide range of digital audio processing functions, including equalization, filtering, crossover, delay, limiting, mixing, and signal routing.
DSP functions and signal flow are defined according to the objectives and requirements of each project, and suitable DSP architectures are reviewed, including platforms based on SigmaDSP and SHARC.
Hardware and software are developed in collaboration with specialized technology partners, while DeltaSound is responsible for DSP function definition, system integration, application design, and performance verification.
Developed systems are evaluated through electrical and acoustic measurements to verify processing performance and system suitability, and their functions and performance are continuously improved with consideration for actual operating environments.
DeltaSound measures and analyzes the frequency response, sound pressure level variation, propagation delay, phase characteristics, and the effects of reflections in actual operating spaces.
Various FFT block sizes and MTW-based analysis methods are used to examine acoustic characteristics in both the time and frequency domains. Measurement results are then used to identify acoustic issues within a space and to understand the operating characteristics of the audio system.
DeltaSound is developing proprietary software for acoustic measurement and analysis, and is researching technologies that link measurement data with system control functions to derive correction parameters appropriate to the characteristics and intended use of each space.
The company is also researching acoustic analysis and optimization technologies that utilize artificial intelligence models and mathematical estimation methods to analyze the complex characteristics of room acoustics.
DeltaSound uses Audio Precision audio analyzers to precisely measure and evaluate the electrical performance of various audio devices, including power amplifiers, preamplifiers, mixers, and DSP systems.
Maximum output power, THD+N, SNR, frequency response, noise floor, output level, channel balance, phase characteristics, crosstalk, IMD, and clipping characteristics are analyzed using objective measurement data.
Measurement results are used not only for product design review and performance improvement, but also for technical verification and testing throughout the development process.
From the early stages of product development, DeltaSound reviews the required performance criteria and test conditions and places importance on verifying product performance and reliability through objective measurement data.
DeltaSound uses TCP/IP- and UDP-based network communications to integrate power amplifiers, DSP systems, audio input/output devices, and control software into a unified system.
Control environments are implemented to support device configuration, status monitoring, parameter control, and real-time monitoring. Depending on system requirements, communication structures and control protocols are designed, reviewed, and applied.
DeltaSound integrates loudspeakers, amplifiers, DSP, digital audio networks, control software, and acoustic measurement and analysis technologies to design audio systems suited to the structure, intended use, and operating environment of each space.
In product and system development, consideration is given not only to the performance of individual devices, but also to interoperability, ease of operation, maintenance, and the overall stability of the system.
System configurations are reviewed and applied for government and public facilities, educational institutions, schools, auditoriums, conference rooms, gymnasiums, and other spaces according to their specific characteristics and intended use.
"DeltaSound will continue to carry out research and development, measurement, verification, and system design based on its accumulated technical experience, while improving the quality and completeness of its products and audio systems through objective technical verification."
